Large delicious Hawaiian macadamia nuts, grown and processed at Huahua Farm in Kona, Hawaii. Macadamia
nuts have the highest level of mono-unsaturated fats of all nuts - even higher than olive oil! So
they're good for you and so tasty it's hard to stop eating them.
Macadamia nuts are not ripe until they fall from the tree. They are then picked up and brought to the husker to have
the outer husk removed. Sorting the de-husked harvest eliminates those that have insect damage and selects those that
are the largest. The remaining nuts are sold to a processor. Only the large nuts are kept to be cracked open,
the kernels slowly dry-roasted to a perfect crispness and then packaged for sale to you and other lucky consumers.
